library thing

and I like library thing too. I found lots books of knitted hats and socks. The trick will be to refrain from buying them from Amazon. I have enough projects to keep me going until I am over 100

delicious

I think Delicious is great. I was even able to explain the benefits to one of our Casual Library Officers, who was most impressed with my up to date technological skills

catching up

I'm trying to catch up, puff, puff. I am paying the price for two days away from work last week, but it was all worth it - two days in Collie, one day for the plumber, and one day paddling on the river

I chose "How to of the day" for one of my RSS feeds. I thought I would like to know how to make peanut butter pine cones for birds. Or perhaps it will tell me how to stop the rats coming and eating the peanut butter pine cones which is what happened when I made one a few years ago.

A salt lake photo

memorable

Walking through the Great Sandy Desert for five days and arriving at the edge of Lake Mackay was one of my most memorable experiences. Just pure, white, flat salt as far as the eye could see. Lake Mackay is a vast saline lake that straddles the border of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. It is located 500 km west-north-west of Alice Springs and, with an area of 4737 km², is the fourth largest lake in Australia.
